Super high Scraper- International Trade & Commerce Centre – Chongqing





Along with the tallest building rising in China, Chonqing is a city where in the South-west of China has been beginning to build the International Trade & Commerce Centre which located on the eastern part of Chongqing Tiandi where near the Jialing River. The International Trade & Commerce Centre consists of three super high-rise towers and a podium. It takes a floor space exceeding 680,000 square meters. Tower 1 is the tallest tower which owns 105 stories. And there are 468 meters heights. The first floor to the 67th floor in this building serves as Grade A offices. Floors above the 67th are operated as a 5 star hotel. Tower 2 is standing 255 meters. The key role of this building is for the office with 47-storey. Tower 3 is a luxury serviced apartment tower with 39 floors which has 174 meters tall. Annex space in the bottom will divided into shopping mall and state of the art commercial centre. The highest building in Chongqing Tiandi is shaped like two oval-shaped overlapping sail penals. The curvy sailcloth design of the three towers which enable to balance out the air pressure and wind force from verious direction. Additionally, this building's facade is inspired by the window parttern of Chongqing cliff buildings. This design not only responses the culture integration with local traditions, but also shows its micro and macro surroundings.

The International Trade & Commerce Centre is planning completed in 2015. It is to be number 7 in the super high scrapers which either are constructing or planning to build around the world.

    That's a whole lot of information that you have about the International Trade & Commerce Centre in Chongqing Tiandi- all the better! I think that its location is perfect since it is surrounded by a river and greenery, all near an urban setting. It is honestly one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture I have come across till now. Are you from that city? I'll be jealous if you are.
